Since Koodo does not have a 2G network, the answer would be no.

Koodo never had a legacy 2G network. Fido/Rogers do so it'll work with them maybe. The frequencies you're listing aren't in widespread use in north america so you may not find ANY service for this phone.most of the 2G service is on the 850mhz band.

You may want to consider getting a new phone. Koodo offers both the Moto G and BlackBerry Q5 for 150$ outright. The Moto G is a stellar performer while the Q5 appeals to those who would like a physical keyboard.

Martin, in order to use a phone on Koodo's network it needs to be compatible with the following bands:

UMTS/WCDMA 850MHz / 1900MHz

These are the 3G frequencies that Koodo uses. If the phone meets these criterias and is unlocked, it will work.

EDIT: Please, do not confuse CDMA and WCDMA, they are vastly different.
