What bank are you with?

Most banks should accept the 8 digit number on the bill. IF you are with Alberta Treasury Branch, there is a 9 digit number needed. You would need to call Koodo for them to get you that 9th number. If it is not ATB then try adding a 0 before the account number

it's 8 digit number that you may have on your paper bill, through selfserve or get it by calling *611 X5

If you're with Alberta Treasury Branch you'll need to call Koodo to get a 9th check digit for the number.

i have a pre paid and the account number is 14 digits long!
(TD bank online).
Is this a TD bank issue or is it because I have a pre paid phone? why should that make any difference when setting up online so I can give Koodo money??

Hey guys!

Please note that for prepaid you can only use the following payments methods:

Voucher
One time credit card payments
Automatic credit card payments.

You can top-up your prepaid account through the web self-serve, the IVR self-serve or by calling and agent for assistance.

Hope this helps!

Nope that doesn't help.  The issue is why Koodo won't make it so prepaid customers can pay just the same way as regular monthly customers.  There's no risk to Koodo-- oops, we are just trying to send you money.... lol
Please ADD alternative payment methods, especially in this day & age when there's paypal, bitcoin, and every other cell company that takes bank payments...
Except Koodo.
Don't want your customers' money or just need to keep it more difficult for us to send you money?
Your answer does not address WHY Koodo is doing this?
