A question about data

When I first set up my account with koodo at the store I had data blocked, I now changed my plan to a data plan but can't get data to work, I was wondering how do I get it to work?

Are you sure data is not still blocked?
check in self serve under the add ons section.

sorry I should've specified more.
I unblocked it when I changed my plan, also tried putting data roaming on to see if that'd change anything.

Still need more info.
data roaming only makes a difference if you are connected to a US tower.
Is it a Koodo phone?
which phone is it?

It is a koodo phone it's the Nexus S, I am in Qc, Canada. I switched my plan about a week ago.

According to your profile, this is the first thing you have posted. On this forum, as in real life, people will not try to provide solutions until you indicate that you have a problem.
In addition to Allan's questions, did you get the phone from Koodo, and did you ever have data blocked on your account?

Can you also start a new thread? This is 4 years old and not necessarily related to what your issue might be. And if you want help here, you'll need to provide more details. Of course if you just want to complain I suppose that you can do so as well.

I have an LG4 phone that I've had for a year.  I updated my plan last evening and data was added, however the data will not work.  I've restarted my phone and my data is turned on.


I've been a Koodo customer for years


Also I'm a Canadian customer.

I also assumed that this was a site put on by Koodo to answer questions, I'm just frustrated with Koodo self serve as it doesn't help with problems.

If this is the first time you have had data on your plan, it is possible there is a data block added to your account to prevent you consuming data st pay-per-use rates. If this is not clear in self/serve, you’ll need to contact Koodo directly.
I recommend a PM through their Facebook page or DM to their Twitter feed rather than calling *611.
