A message appeared on my phone " for emergency use only" you are not registered" what does this mean?

same problem here, btw my phone is originally locked to telus could that be a problem?
also i tried the suggestions for cheaking the network to not have ticked 2g etc, and taking out battery but to no avail. someone plz help. was working until 5hrs ago.

The options you tried should have worked. I think it's better if you give our techs a call at 1-866-995-6636 (option 6) from another device and they can definitely help. Also, if your phone is locked to Telus, we cannot guarantee that it will work with us without being unlocked.

Hi Marg,

It means that you are not connected to the Koodo network. Check what network ypu have selected on your phone as well as it's APN settings. If you give more info about the phone, we can help you a little more

thank you everyone and am sorry for hijacking thread. Apparently my phone was blacklisted  by being reported by (im guessing ) from whom i bought the phone from. i regret buying it and i think there should be a way for report those lying scumbags.
