I'll let this e-mail below speak for itself.......

All the doubters, and naysayers should have more confidence that Koodo is a first rate company, and it stands behind it's business practices.

My decision to switch to Koodo from Bell has been re-affirmed as a correct one.

Here's the e-mail:

Hello *****,

Thank you for choosing Koodo Mobile and thank you for your email.

The promotion mentioned on the website was for Webstore purchases only but we understand how you may have viewed the situation.

We would like to extend the gift card promotion to you for your new activations.

Can you please confirm your Koodo phone numbers so that we can add you to our $50 VISA gift card list?

In the future, if you have any doubts whatsoever about the services we provide or any of the promotions we have going on, please do not hesitate to call us so that we can explain and clarify anything that you might be concerned about. We’d be more than happy to help.

Thanks,

Sincerely
***

Actually, Bill, in most of the posts you participated in so far I saw only one doubter and naysayer :D Just teasing... I'm glad it's sorted and looking forward to your positive contributions here in these forums :)
A bit more seriously: you might want to edit some of the things you said in other people's threads really :)

I "bumped" it up the current topics list for others to read, as my original thread is locked, and I can't update it.

So Yannick was right and the battle still happened. Glad to see it being corrected to avoid further confusion.

Enjoy the free money :)

What are you talking about now?

On your original post about this gift card issue, Yannick, a Koodo employee, told you the exact same thing this email said about "The promotion mentioned on the website was for Webstore purchases only but we understand how you may have viewed the situation." You still fought it and ended up winning. As a result, they edited the wording online to avoid further confusion.

In essence, you got what you wanted, being the gift card which, in turn, is free money. I no longer see a problem so I was, in a way, congratulating you. Take it as you will.

Thank you for your explanation Tyler. I'll take it. :)

The reason I questioned Yannick, is because:
1. I did not, and still don't know his credentials.
2. I called CSR following his comments, and was instructed by them that I would receive the cards which would make Yannick incorrect.

If I in any way insulted Yannick, or anyone else, I apologize. I was simply following the information Koodo CSR gave me.

I would like it to be very clear......I fought for something that I 100% honestly believed I was entitled to. I would not have come here to ask my original question if I didn't.

Too all the rest......Thank you for your input. As far as I'm concerned, this matter is closed now.
I hope we can all respect, and agree to that.

I concur :)

For future reference, when you see someone post and they have "Employee" under the picture, they are legit Koodo employees that are part of the social media team who can give the definitive answer to most, if not all questions/concerns posted in this community. I trust their responses completely.
