15$ base plan, voice features and booster clarification

I am thinking of switching to a Koodo prepaid plan, but I need to clarify a few things first. The idea is to use the 15$ base plan (15$ monthly), then buy booster add-ons for both talk and data as needed.

1. Are booster add-ons "one-shot" purchases? I don't want them to auto-renew.

2. In the nitty-gritty details, one can read "The $15 base plan requires a Talk Booster add-on and sufficient anytime minutes in your account to use voice features." Is this only saying that I need a positive balance of booster minutes to be able to call and use voicemail? I want to ensure this is not saying I need to purchase a talk booster each month. I don't understand why this is restricted to the 15$ plan, since the 25$ plan also has no included minutes.

3. Does the free talk booster counts towards activating the 15$ base plan voice features?

1. Yes. They do not auto renew.
2. Yes. The $25 Plan is for those who want a data-only Plan.
3. I believe so.

Talk boosters don't expire. They only end once you use up all the minutes. Question #3 $15 base plan is for texting only. What you do with the free talk booster is up to you. It can be added to any base plan.
