Been trying forever, seems impossible to get through to anyone.

It's not even ringing, you dial the number and it just hangs up. Tried it from multiple phones.

Keep trying. An alternative, if you don't want to wait, is sign up with one of the other carriers that offers the exact same plan.

Really... I tried the 1-855-205-2112 number from my house phone just now it and went through ok. I've been on hold for an hour now waiting for someone to answer. Trying to figure out if its even worth it at this point...

Yes this number went through. I was dialling 611 from my phone which dialled an Alberta number.

My boyfriend was on the phone last night for over 2 hours and it never disconnected. But maybe they changed that today. Who knows.

If Koodo wishes to retain a vast amount of their Customer base they really should start answering our calls. Been trying since yesterday to get the new plan, this being the last day of the offer I wonder if they plan on ignoring us? If I cannot talk to a CSR before 4PM I will certainly be changing my provider.

I went to a Koodo store at the mall and they said to port my number to Telus and become a Telus customers. I’m just trying to do that now but the Telus Network is crashing and they’re having trouble creating my new account.

Why take the call in the first place if you're going to hang up

Yes, that's what we've been suggesting all along... rather than trying so hard to get some retention plan you might not even be entitled to, just switch to another provider who offers the same plan.

I got the $60 deal on Telus! $23 for a new SIM card and took maybe 30 mins at the mall.

I just got a new line at koodo on the same account. $15 sim, but no number port. Now I will call koodo after things calm down and try to get the sim charge waved, and also to port my number, and prorate both my plans. As well as shift the new plan to the date I got the number ported not the date I bought. But we will see how willing they are. Can call em now, tried to call about 60 times, kept not connecting. The one time it did I was on hold one hour then my phone died. The second time, I went through all the options and by the time it went to send me to operator it went silent for a long time. Nothing happened. Other times it just hung up. But anyways hopefully they will be kind and do something out of courtesy.

I'm trying to do the same thing but also can't get through. Let me know if they let you port your number across, from what I'm reading it might not be as easy as it should be

If calling is too hard, you could buy another Koodo prepaid SIM, activate it (15$). Then port your old postpaid --> prepaid. After that port prepaid --> new postpaid ($60). That might save you some time with the wait time.
