Hello , I just switched to Koodo from roges
It turns out that koodo doesn't recieve any messages from overseas if my number was in the form of 001+phone number

it has to be +1+phone number , where my bank overseas doesn't accept that in their system , which is make sense the + after all is an appreviation for +

please help me on this one :)

thx all

The + is an abbreviation for the international dialing prefix, i.e. in Canada it is 011, in much of southeast asia it is 001. The country code (in this case the 1) must still be dialed between the prefix and the number the text is going to so that the system knows to route the message to canada.
e.g. to send a text to canada from guyana, dial 001-1-555-555-1234
to send a text to canada from japan, dial 010-1-555-555-1234

Naif, the system employed by Koodo for international texting has a number of issues, and it has had them for years now. AFAIK it is a proprietary system run by a third party. Telus/Koodo is not willing or not able to fix them.

In this case, however, the problem could lie on the other end.

In any case, do not hope for a quick resolution.
