"Unfortunately, settings have stopped working" when trying to add new APN

Hi everyone! I have an unlocked Moto G that I am trying to use with an out-of-country sim card. I try to add a new APN, but every time I do so the phone tells me that the settings have stoped working and takes me to the previous page. Any idea how I could fix this or what the problem could be?

Hi Polina,

I would check with the provider's support to make sure you are entering the proper APN settings. Nothing that can be done on Koodo's end if your using a different provider's SIM card.

It's an older thread, but Moto G apparently balks at making a new default APN.
