If I activate the "U.S. Unlimited Text" add-on for 3 days (by texting 3TXT to 4545), what will I be charged for any data that I use? $5 per 50MB as stated in the "nitty gritty", or is that just for the "U.S. Data with Unlimited Minutes & Text" add-on?

If the answer to my question is NOT per 50MB:
- I'd like to know what the overage charges are.
- The "nitty gritty" should clarify what add-on it refers to.

the $5/50MB is for your roaming data. Other data overages when you are in Canada depends on what plan you have. And the details should on your account when you look at what your plan includes.

My question is about data in the U.S. and U.S. Roaming add-ons, not about my current plan.

That's what roaming data is. You are roaming in the US. The $5/50MB is what it is.

3TXT does not include any data, so I would assume you will be charged à la carte as if you had no roaming plan for data while you are stateside.

Those rates are $5/20 MB. Use  > 40 MB in 3 days and you'd be better off going with 3ALL, which will cover you for 150 MB for an extra $10.

I believe if your U.S. Roaming Add-on doesn't included Data, Standard Rates will apply.

Pay-per-use U.S. roaming data is. $5/20MB

Nitty gritty says "Data overage rate is $5/50MB."

So if you went over than what you have, there will be an overage charge.

Yeah, the add-on will give him better rates.
