Hi William,

For flip phones, Koodo offers the Alcatel OneTouch A392A. As a possible alternative, many Android devices include or have access to an accessibility feature (Talkback) which provides spoken feedback while you navigate your way around your phone. Voice recognition is another built in feature that can allow you to dictate a text or call someone hands free. The Moto G 3rd. Gen would be my suggestion.

I would also suggest to check out a company that makes app and phones, we are talking smaprtphones here, specifically for the visually impaired. We got one of their phones for my aunt and she loves it.

Hi William, I work in technical accessibility in higher-education. I cannot say enough about Apple products as far as accessibility is concerned for users with visual impairments. Leaps and bounds above the competition in many aspects. Most of my low-vision / blind colleagues all use iPhones with incredible ease and precision.

It's obviously much more of a device than just a phone, but it's something you may wish to consider

Cheers!
