"Change Phone" option is "Forbidden" to me

I'm trying to use the Change Phone function in self serve because I have a new phone/ sim card. However, when I click on the Change Phone link I get a Forbidden message that says I don't have permission to access that page... but the instructions in Self Serve make it seem like this link shouldn't be forbidden. Some of the other links work, but many others are also showing as "Forbidden" - Is something wrong with the website?

It might be that you are not set up as Administrator of the account. If there is an option to check Role Management, you should be able to determine your status. If you are not Administrator, you would likely need to contact Koodo to have this role changed.

I have the same issue: entered a new SIM card that came with the phone and got locked from the Change Phone menu with the: Error 403--Forbidden message. It is definitely a problem with the website. How can you help me?

Like David said above.  Go into your account and look at your profile access type.

There is no such thing as "profile access type" on "My Account" page.

I was able to change SIM in an hour or so. It looked like a glitch on the server side.
Today I had the forbidden message when I clicked on the change password option. Is the server overloaded?

When I went back into the site a few hours later I was able to access "Change Phone" ... I didn't change my status first, so I suspect that wasn't the issue. Unfortunately, I can't say what the issue was or what fixed it. The best advice I have is to try the link again periodically, though I know that's not terribly helpful.
