Under the (60+5) $65 plan which currently I have on my m.no., Koodo is offering 1.25 GB Data at present and because of this confusion I have used a bit extra data over 1 Gb in last billing however I am surprised to see that have been charged $5 for that and my data plan is still showing 1 Gb.

Can u pls refund $5 charged to me and update my data limit to 1.25 Gb as per the $65 Koodo plan

You will need to call Koodo and change your plan to the new one, Ankur. Or I believe you can change it in self service as well, just choose the same $60 plan (not sure about that though). Either way it won't be automatic. Your 1GB plan will never change - which is actually positive because if they ever offer LESS data for $60, it won't be taken away from you either.

You can ask for a refund of the extra $5, but since you used that while still on the old plan, I'm not sure you will get it... still it's worth a try.

Why would koodo give a refund? Does everyone get a refund if they don't know how their cellphone plan actually work?

She's saying OP could try. Not that they will.

Yes, I know. I just didn't think koodo was like a bazaar where you negotiate things. If I was koodo I would not run a business like that at all.

Did you actually subscribe to the 1.25GB plan when it came out a few days ago? If you signed up on a different $60 plan, you have to change your plan to the new $60 plan if you want the features of the new plan. It doesn't change automatically.

You CLEARLY stated about your last billing cycle, so it's clear you are on a different plan because the 1.25GB didn't exist a month ago. You were charge because you went over your data usage and so you the charge is valid. If you want 1.25GB in your plan, go on self-serve and change your plan.

Have a good day

This new $60 plan came out yesterday(I believe)
You are on the old $60 plan which includes 1 GB. You have to change your plan to the new $60 plan if you want to have 1.25 GB as mentioned above.
