$50 gift not received. Why?

I bought a moto g from a kiosk and was told I would receive a $50 gift in 4-6 weeks if my account was in good standing. My account was in good standing and I did not ever receive the $50 gift. I now own that phone and have since gotten a new phone. Why didn't I receive the $50 gift?

Did you ever follow up this with Customer Service? Because for sure at this point you will not receive a gift card...

Did you upgrade with Koodo or did you activate a new account with them? Any promotional gift cards or store credits for accessories are usually reserved for new lines only.

I upgraded. But the other day I got an s4 and still owed $202 on my moto g. I got 10000 pc points for getting the s4. I only just paid off the $202 the day after I got the s4.

When you got the Moto G in Nov 2014,  were you new to Koodo at that time,  or was that an upgrade at that time?

No. I was not new to koodo at that time. I broke my s2 so they upgraded me to the moto g. Then a few days ago I broke my moto g so I went back and got an s4. Still owed $202 on the moto g. Paid the moto g off the next day after I got the s4 on the tab.

PC points are a different promotion. They can give those out of upgrades too, it seems. It's gift cards or in store credit to accessories/towards the phone that are rarely given for upgrades.

Glentel is giving in store credits for Virgin on new acts and upgrades though, which is cool.
