Usually my phone renews automatically when I have a balance, but this time, it said that I needed to add more minutes in order for my base plan to renew. (I had enough in there.) So I added more than I needed. I found this out by going to an on-line group, where I asked my questions, but had to log into facebook and then my phone was flagged for being lost or stolen. This is all very weird.

The suspension refers to you not having available funds to cover the baseplan. There is no fee to reinstate your phone, though you must add a baseplan within ninety days, if you fail to do so, your account will be deactivated and you’ll lose your phone number and any funds remaining on your account balance, including your boosters.

Minutes and data (top-ups) don't expire, so if you have say thirty minutes left, when you renew the baseplan, those thirty minutes will still be there.

As far as your phone being reported lost or stolen, you would have either had to call in, or report the phone lost or stolen through Koodo's prepaid SelfServe site and suspend service. The only other possibility is that you recently bought the phone secondhand and the seller may have reported the phone lost or stolen and it is now flagged.

Call customer service from a landline phone to get this matter resolved.
