I got a plan for my mother that has airtime only, no data. she is connected to the wifi at home all the time. when I checked her usage today, she has incurred $15 data charge. I don't know how this happened. So to prevent this, I called Koodo and asked them block the data. I was told that there would be a $2 per month for this service. I couldn't believe what I heard. Is this true? Is this a common practice?
