Will Koodo Honor the Price on the Iphone 6 from a couple weeks ago?

i went into a bestbuy a couple weeks ago to get a new iphone 6 becuase the price was discounted. went through the process of upgrading until the guy at BestBuys realized that they didnt carry Iphone 6's for Koodo. i havent been able to get to a Koodo store since and know i noticed that the prices have gone up. will Koodo give a rain check on the old price? i beleive i could have gotten the Iphone 6S for $150 becuase i have a $150 tab Credit right now.

To clarify.... Best buy had the price of the iphone 6 with Koodo, but they dont carry the iphone 6 fpr Koodo?  Or do you mean they sold out at best buy?

Also, did you complete the process of upgrading at that time?

yes, they had all the prices for Koodo and carry other Koodo phones but they specifically said they dont carry the Iphone 6 or 6S for Koodo. They mentioned that the phone had to be specific to Koodo. they had Iphone 6 and 6S in the store but they could not use them with Koodo.

If they dont carry it, I interpret that as they dont sell iphone 6's for Koodo.  Why would they have the price for it?

Ex. If I sell shoes but I dont sell or carry socks, why would I have the price for socks?

check the link. they have the price, but it says that it is not available online and not available at nearby stores. im in Alberta.

Did they say they don't carry it?
maybe they meant  they don't have them on stock at that time?

Ok then it looks like it is sold out.  If the price is different from Koodo then you would need to work with Best buy for a rain check

they dont have them in stock and he mentioned they probably wont ever have them in stock becuase they have never had them in stock before.

and we started the process but cancelled it once they realized they didnt have the Koodo Phone.

Is it a special price at best buy only? Because if best buy makes a deal and Koodo doesn't, Koodo doesn't have any obligation to give to you for the same price. But this is only hypothetically. The only way to know is to contact Koodo and ask them

You're getting conflicting answers from the sales rep or they're not being clear enough. Either they sell it for Koodo or they don't, and they either have stock or don't. If not, they might be able to either do a stock transfer or you could find another location. They're not on commission either, which you would think means they're gonna try and give you the best deal, but who knows. There's really no rain check option available unless Best Buy or Koodo can make an exception, but there's probably a blurb in the terms and conditions stating that it was while supplies last or something of that nature. It must be frustrating having done the whole upgrade process and then them not even having the phone in stock. Actually I'm surprised they were even able to do that without an IMEI to put in the channel. This doesn't sound kosher.
