What do you mean by "your sisters phone number connected to it"?
Who is account owner?  Did she upgrade the phone for you?

Or did she put her SIM into your new iPhone...?
My dad is th account owner. Somehow when I put the Sim card in my new phone, it activated it as my sisters number instead of mine. Does that mean I have to get a new Sim card and start over?

SIM cards can only be activated on one line. If this card was mistakenly registers to your sisters like instead of yours, then yes, you will need a new sim card. Your sisters old son card can however be registered back to her line again as long as it has not been inactive for over 90 days.

You can also take the SIM from your current phone and place in your new one.
I bought a new Sim card, and the phone lines are closed today for the holiday. How can I switch to my new Sim card in my new phone, and have my sister phone back to her normal Sim?

There are a few steps needed to complete this task, but it can be dome in self serve. Let's see if someone more familiar with the process jumps in.

A couple of questions:
Does your sister's phone work now?
If not, will the SIM that came with your phone fit her phone?

Go to koodomobile.com. Sign into self serve. Click the link at the bottom of the screen that says change phone. Make sure your number is displayed in the phone number box at the top right of the page. Select new sim card in my current phone. Click start change. Enter the number of the new sim card and click continue. Continue through confirmation steps until it says you are done. Put new sim card in your phone. If your sisters phone uses the same size sim as yours does you can simply oh the card which was mistakenly registered to her number in her phone, otherwise follow the steps above again, making sure her number is selected in the phone number box and entering her original sim card number when prompted.
