Why did I get a notice my prepaid base plan expired and cannot use my phone when I just topped up automatically 3 days earlier.?


As a prepaid customer who just had the automatic top up to base plan applied and recorded in my credit card account, why did I get a notice 3 days later saying my base plan expired and I can't use my phone. Looking at my account online everything looks fine. Please explain. Thanks.

I have no explanation for this.  This seems to happen with Koodo from time to time.  It really shouldnt.  It doesnt make sense

Agree with Dennis. Sounds stoopid, I know, but try re-starting the phone without the SIM (it will give an error message). Then re-insert the SIM and restart. This will completely reboot the communications between your handset and Koodo and should reload your account status.
