Why can't I use my data?


Hi My plan includs data. But I can't use my data, it is asking for APN password and username.

Go to Settings, then General, About, then Reset, then choose Reset Network settings. You will need to reconnect to any Wi-Fi networks, but your cellular data should reset.

It would likely be helpful if you directed the OP to the location in the phone settings where they can set these, as it is not always obvious.

For Android (iOS should be something similar) go Settings>More...>Networks>APN. Click on the '+' sign to add a new APN and input the info, then save.

After [i]saving, you may have to make the new file [i]active.

Try to avoid modifying the original file. On some handsets, you won't be able to make changes to it in any event.

It won't let me reset my network? I click on it but it doesn't work..I just got my phone? Is there something wrong with it?

@Mehan - looks like you used up all of your data back on Dec. 26. You authorized the $5 overage, but have now used that all up as well. Your plan actually resets at midnight, so you can either wait for a fresh new cycle, or reply 'Yes' again to the shock-free data text you would have received to authorize another $5 top-up.
