What is a negative tab balance?

I have a tab balance of -225.00$
What the heck is this? Why do I owe that much money? I pay my bill every month. Does my tab balance increase over time? How often do i need to pay it off?

Duplicate :) https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/what-is-a-negative-tab-balance
Each and every question asking what a negative tab balance means just says  "answered" but what  IS  the answer??!!

I have two phones, both with a negative tab balance; the bill is way higher than it should be considering the plan we have. I will either get this straightened out STAT or I am changing provider, after 11 years with Koodo and no issues,  Fed up with being taken for money I cannot afford to spend!

This one was a duplicate post, that's why its marked as answered most likely.

If you have a negative tab balance that means that you are still paying for the phones.

You previously mentioned a higher bill and it was said that it was higher due to minutes overages (https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/i-need-to-access-my-self-serve)

Whatever number is after the negative tab is what you owe for that phone. Depending on whether you have a tab small($10)/medium($15)/large($21) your tab is reduced each month by that amount. If you look online at the pdf of your bill it will show you your overages and why your bill is higher than usual.

So do you now know you look at page 3 of your bill in self-serve and now you are able to access self-serve without issues? Let us know what you see there that doesn't make sense.
Does your bill become lower once the phone is paid off?

Yes. It'll go down by the tab amount, be it 10, 15, or 21 a month.
