What does Equipment exchange mean?


I am a new costumer to Koodo, I was with Telus before, so I just got my bill for my iPhone SE, and I have no idea what "Equipment Exchange, Equipment Exchange - CR" means, it's charging 10$ each for those and my plan is supposed to be 40$/month. Please get back to me asap and let me know what this is. Thank you.

Did you exchange your phone at all? The CR should refer to being credited, so it shows that you were "charged" and that you were given a credit of the same amount, meaning you had no additional charge. Is your bill not 40 dollars plus a pro-rated amount as explained here?

What is the Equipment Exchange charge for? I recently activated a new phone using the same plan as the previous phone.  Unfortunately I have no CR to negate this charge, which is totally unexpected!!  Also, the wait time to speak to a rep on the phone (over an HOUR) is totally unacceptable!!!

Can you post the relevant portion of your invoice, and someone here may be able to help with  interpretation.
