Unlocked IPhone not recognizing koodo sim card anymore


Bought a used iPhone on the Rogers network and had it unlocked. I have been using a koodo sim card for 8 months now and my phone isn't recognizing the koodo network. Will replacing the sim with another koodo sim fix the problem?

If that's the screen that you're getting, then your phone is not unlocked. Did you have it unlocked via iTunes? That's the only permanent unlocking solution. If you did it that way, a factory reset via iTunes should fix the problem. Don't forget to backup your data first.

He's been using that sim in the phone for 8 months according to OP.

Have you taken the sim out and put it back in?
If so and it still doesn't work, I would try just purchasing a new sim, as they can get faulty over time.
Seen it happens dozens of times.

Thanks. I'll try a new sim.
Phoned Rogers and had it unlocked through them
Did the factory reset through iTunes and it didn't fix the problem.
