I know the process of transferring the account ownership to other person. But I'm wondering is there any minimum time limit that the account or line should be active? E.g. With Bell mobility, if the mobile account is 6 months older, user can add another line on the account, and transfer that line right away to the new party. But with Telus/Fido, the line itself should be active for at least 90 days before transferring the ownership regardless how old is the account itself. I want to buy a phone for my gf as.gift and wondering how soon she can take it over? What if I add the line to an existing Koodo account?
