Swapped equipment - same sim - worked for a few minutes - now nothing - help?


I've taken my sim from my son's Samsung A667 Evergreen and placed it in my old iPhone 4 tray. It booted up, I saw the Koodo service show on the display, we imported his contacts and now, it shows no service. hmm. Re-installed sim, rebooted, repower - nothing works. What is happening?

Btw, my old iPhone was used on Koodo on my plan until I upgraded to a 5S, so this handset isn't locked to another network.

Make sure 3G is on. And does it work when you put it back into your Evergreen?
We turned 3g off since we don't want him to use data at the moment. Evergreen is no longer at home

If you turn 3g off you won't get a signal. Turn data off and then turn the 3G connections back on.

And if you really do not want data used on that account, you may wish to get a data block applied at the source, so a little slip of the switch ends up costing you a bunch of pay per use data.
