Hi,
I would suggest you reported the stolen phone first to avoid any accidental usage https://www.koodomobile.com/help/reporting-your-lost-or-stolen-phone

They don't have anything like that unfortunately. You would still be responsible for the tab amount and usage during that period. You could try to contact Koodo directly and claim hardship but there isn't much they could do.

First thing you should do is report it.

Not sure what you mean on if Koodo has a coverage plan for the amount owing. If you mean that if they will help you out with what is owing on your tab I doubt it. If you had insurance(apple care) of some sort that might cover it but there might also be a deductible involved.

Your household insurance might also cover it. Expect a deductible.

If you are paying your tab with a credit card it might be covered. Mine was about 10 years ago when my cell was stolen, but I had bought it outright. Not sure how or if it would work with a tab.

If purchased on a Tab, then credit card assurance will not cover it. It must be purchased outright
