SIM Not Valid. Please help!

I cancelled my service with Rogers,and transferred my phone number with Koodo. However, when the Koodo SIM card was inserted, it says "Activation Required", then the following few screens - it said "SIM Not Valid". The Salesperson at Koodo reassured me that I can activate my phone as soon as I connect it to my iTunes. Which I did... and on the iTunes, I see the same message related to "SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported". What should I do?!

Do you have access to a Koodo store nearby, Joelle? It almost sounds as if there is a problem with the SIM card itself - the store can check this for you quickly and if needed provide you with a replacement 🙂 Edit: I did assume that the phone is unlocked?
Thank you Sophia! Yes, my phone is unlocked.The store is closed now. Will have to wait for tomorrow then. 😞 Thanks again for your help! 🙂
