Sim Card Not Supported


I thought the sim card with a carrier lock works now once entered into the phone? I received my activated sim card but its still saying to contact carrier to unlock the phone since the carrier of the sim is not supported. What can I do? Help

Are you a current Koodo customer? where was the phone from? .

If the phone was from Koodo (and was locked to Koodo) you could follow this https://www.koodomobile.com/help/unlocking-your-phone

Hello! If you’re trying to use our service in a phone that isn’t from Koodo, and it’s not working, it’s highly possible that your phone is still locked by the previous provider you were with.

If you are currently using a Koodo phone and cannot use a sim card from a different provider, you can refer to Dinh’s comment above. If that’s not an option either, you can contact us over Facebook or Twitter to unlock your phone.
