Shock-Free data not working. $5 charge after 90% notification, and "50 mb left" notification. Data not paused


I just signed up for a shock free data plan (Aug 2016) and I got a notification at 90%, then one that I had used 50% of my last 100mb, and the next thing was a $5 data overage charge. I have notifications turned on, obviously. So much for shock free data.

In self serve what does your notification settings say?  Can you provide a screen shot?

Hi Hannah, I see that you were able to speak with someone earlier and resolve the issue. Let us know if you still experience any problems.
I got charged extra on data as well wS told I would be notified when mine was used up that did not happen

Hi Carroyl - nice to hear from you again! You didn't confirm last time, but if your phone number indeed ends with 099, you've never gone over your data allotment. I've check ed your account back until May and you've always stayed within your data limit - which was 400MB originally, and then upgraded to 1GB this summer. That's why you weren't notified of any data overages (there were none).
