seasonal hold

I have now left Canada and will be away for the next five months. I thought I could put my phone on seasonal hold but have now found out that is not possible via self serve.
I do not have my Canadian sim card with me so it is not possible for Koodo to call me and to call them is virtually impossible
What are my options??

If you run up against a brick wall, you can port your number over to an on-line VoIP service for a few bucks a month. That will close your Koodo account, generating a final bill. You will still be able to access your current number over wifi and then re-join mobile when you return.

@juliajac Another option is to use skype or a VoIP app like Fongo to call Koodo 866 number.
