Roaming charges


Over the Christmas break, I visited US.Although I didn't use my data in US, it seems to have 'leaked' and it's now charging me $5 for the 0.00MB i spent during my days in US.

Can you fix this please?

You should contact Koodo directly with a request for refund. You can send a private message through Facebook or Twitter, or call #227 on your phone. Expect long wait times if you call, as Koodo is still digging out from the Christmas & new Year's promotions.

Phone response time for me was over an hour. Unacceptable! Koodo should have an email address for various types of queries. A customer should not have to use social media to contact a business they are paying good money to manage their cell phone business.

Email is an insecure means of communication private information, and good practice, and in some cases provincial and federal legislation prohibit transmission of such information. The increased security of interfaces such as Facebook or Twitter allow the transfer of such information.

Koodo is mainly a self serve and value brand and customer support is first through the self-serve portal, and online, through this forum, via Facebook or Twitter, the Support and FAQ pages. If the issue cannot be resolved through these means, then a conversation may be the next step.
