you just have to call to have it unlocked when koodo is open. here is a link to a convo with some info.

I have called the Koodo customer and asked to unlock my iPhone SE couple weeks ago. I am outside Canada and want to use the local Carrier's SIM card but I failed to active the iPhone. It says the iPhone is still locked by the carrier. Could anyone help?
