Procedure of switching to Koodo

I am planning to move my mobile plan to Koodo, do I need to call my plan provider to notify them to cancel my plan first before moving?

Hi Loyce, Your account with your current carrier needs to be active. All you need to do is call Koodo to port your number in or you can visit a retailer to purchase a sim and / or phone and they can set it up right there for you. You want to make sure your account is not suspended either as they probably won't let you take their number.

No. Koodo will not be able to transfer the number over if there is a cancellation order in place already.
