Pre-Owned certified iPhone 4s is not unlocked

I had purchased onlince a pre owned certified 4s iPhone but it seems it is not factory unlocked. I thought it will be factory unlocked. Purchase date is 31 March. is it possible to return. what would be the return policy. can koodo do factory unlock free of cost since it is preowned certified.

Any suggestion would be appreciable since it was my fault i have to think about factory unlock cost before purchasing.

Hi Purnendu, I am unsure if the same policy applies on pre-owned phones but typically you have 14 days to return it if you are unsatisfied with it. For future reference, typically any phone you get from a carrier will be locked to that carrier regardless whether its used or not. Koodo does unlock the phones, for a price of course. You can check more information about that on your self serve account or call them up using *611 on your Koodo phone! Hope this helps!
Thanks for comments! I will check with customer service for the same. I think almost it is over 14 days for return and now I have only one option to unlock it since I have to use the other carrier. In future I could take care.......

Since it's a Koodo certified pre-owned device, you should have a 15 day money back guarantee. You have two days to return the phone, three if you include today. http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/pre-owned-certified-iphone-4s-is-not-unlocked
