Positive Tab balance & Changing Plans


I've officially paid the balance of my Tab and would now like to select a new monthly Plan. When I select the one I want, I get a message "To take advantage of these new plans you'll need to say YES to the Tab changes". When you then click on "Tab changes" to see what that means, it just sends you to the FAQ about the Tab. 

What does this "say YES to the Tab changes" mean? If my Tab has a positive balance, does this affect me?

It means that you agree to the new tab system and stop accruing a positive tab balance. You will be able to retain whatever the positive balance is for use towards a new phone if you want. New plans need you to move to the new tab system.

Thanks, Goran. As a follow up: if I went with this new plan, would a new Tab kick in for me? Or does having paid off my existing Tab allow me to only pay for the new rate plan moving forward?

You paid off your tab so you're good. You only pay when you decide to us it to get a phone.

Hi Goran, I have the same situation as Roni. You said that she will be able to retain whatever the positive balance she has and use it towards a new phone if she wants to. How long will she be able to retain the positive balance for if she doesn't want a new phone now?
