Question

Phone says no service

Phone says no service. Data isn't working, texting won't work, can't make or receive calls. Our other Koodo phones in the same location are working fine. We have taken the SIM card out and put it back in, restarted the phone, reset the network settings. If I try to call the phone it either says, "6UT3. The number you have reached is not in service." or "6UT1 The number you have reached is not in service."  This is on an iPhone 8 Plus on a prepaid Koodo.  We got it in October and it has been working fine on Koodo since that time until about two days ago.

Do you currently have an active base plan on the account?
Could you try putting the sim into another phone and see if you still have the same issue?

Thanks again for your suggestions. It’s still not working. Do you have any other suggestions or know how I can actually talk to Koodo? At the mall they said they’ve seen this with others and we have to call in but I can’t get through to anyone. It’s almost four days now. It wouldn’t be so bad if calls would go to voicemail but it’s as if the number is non existent.
Thanks for your suggestions.  I appreciate it. Yes the plan is still active.  I even checked online and it's all active and there are minutes and data.  I'll try putting the SIM into another phone once everyone's home this evening.  Of course, it's odd that the number is just saying out of service and it's not going to voicemail.  If it were just a problem with the phone or a damaged SIM card, wouldn't calls still go through to voicemail?

We even drove into the mall to the Koodo kiosk last night and were told they’d seen the same problem with others that day and that they couldn’t do anything there. They said we’d have to call in to get Koodo to fix it. That is impossible right now because their phones are always busy and it just hangs up on you.
