Paid into the wrong account on my bill?


I recently transfered ownership from my mother to myself, I thought I had been paying my bill properly but it turns out that since the account ownership changed my account number has changed. I did not realise this until I got my bill in the mail and it said I had failed to pay for last months bill since I paid for it on the old account (when my mother had ownership of it). I cannot call support until the morning since the office is closed and I'm not sure if there is anything they can even do about it, will I have to pay for last months bill again since I paid into the wrong account?
