That is perfectly fine to do. She will need to have a credit check done on her by Koodo and if she passes, she can take over the account and put it in her own name. Easiest and quickest way is at a Koodo booth
does it have to be a specific koodo booth or can any booth that deals with multiple companies do it?

Any booth should be able to do it for you, But IF you can find an actual Koodo booth, you will get a dedicated Koodo worker, not someone that works for all carriers kind of thing. Either will get the job done the same.
[b]Easiest way is the following:
[b]1. Call Koodo and tell them you'd like to transfer ownership of the your daughter's number to your daughter's name (they'll ask you for your account info & your daughter's name).

[b]2. Have your daughter call in and say I want to take ownership of number mentioned in step 1. (obviously she can be right beside while you make call to perform step 1, and she doesn't need to call in separately)

They will ask her for 2 pieces of ID (DL & SIN/CC 😵 and will run a credit check on her. If it passes, they will transfer the responsibility of the number to her name.

[b]Something to consider:
If your daughter just turned 18 and hasn't established credit or has poor credit, they may ask her to put a deposit or put her on a credit limit program.

I'm not sure if TELUS / Koodo still use a credit limit program. You can ask them when you call in. Again, this is only if she doesn't pass the credit check.
