No account details since activation?

Came from Freedom Mobile to Koodo today at 5pm to get the 10GB deal. Went to a BestBuy Mobile and I installed my new card but I didn't get signal. My mother got a card too and hers isn't working either. Anyone else have this issue or is it that the person at BestBuy messed up? How long should I wait? Also my email doesn't seem to be associated with an account. Is this bizarre?
