New to Koodo: Puzzled by data hogging on new iPhone 4s


I'm new to Koodo and was shocked at how much data I used within a few hours; almost 2 Gigabytes. I downloaded about 500 hundred e-mails (it was a mistake due to a wrong setting) to my Mac using my phone's personal hotspot. And I also used my phone to try and figure out why I wasn't getting my email from Google. Check your iphone. Settings>Cellular>Cellular Data Usage - Current Period Does the data used on the phone come close to what is on your self serve?
Yes it does (did). I reset it yesterday.

Then it does look like Koodo's Data Usage information is correct. it just looks weird on self serve because so much data was used so quickly

There is a major issue caused by Facebook's new autoplay feature. So, if you used facebook this maybe an issue for you as well. Turn off 'autoplay" on your facebook setting. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/facebooks-autoplay-video-feature-destroying-163800507.html
