Upgraded and got a new iPhone 11 today (previous phone is iphone6s) and got it setup with wifi, AppleID etc., but not able to make the accompanying SIM card to work. Any call I try simply fails with “call failed”. Have tried all the various suggestions on Apple forum regarding this (airplane mode; restarting phone; resetting network etc.).
Should mention that older iPhone 6s is still working. Not sure if there is a step that I am missing, although from looking at all the setup instructions, it seems to me that the new SIM should already have been activated and should have “just worked”.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You can simply put the SIM from the 6s to the new iPhone.
If you want to use the new SIM (the new SIM was inactive), you would have to switch SIM following this https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support
