My rate is unreasonable!!


I used koodo since Dec 27, 2016 and I used a montly plan that costs $55. And the clerk said I can use LTE limitlessly for 10 days. And my first billing cylce was from Dec 27th , 2016 to Jan 5th, 2017.. It was only 10 days! And...today I got a bill and it said I have to pay $71.50 except tax!! In details it said that $55 is for monthly charge( 3GB Unltd min Plan SFD), and $16.50 is for partial charge( 3GB Unltd min Plan SFD) during the period. I don't know why I have to pay all $55 because I only used 10 days, and I also don't know why I have to pay partial charge even though I never added any services when I made a contract!

You need not be so outraged. Your first billing period is pro-rated from when you signed up to the billing date. You are also charged services for the upcoming month in advance This occurs when anyone signs up with a provider. Similarly, when you change a plan,  both the old plan and the new are pro-rated for the portion of the month they were active. Then go to "charges on my first bill"

You should also download and read your PDF bill from self-serve.
