my phone stopped working I have the 50 dollars Canada wide plan and I am in Ontario need this fixed any ideas please to get this problem resolved I have unlimited Canada wide calling I repeat

Same problem here.
I have the $50 base plan - unlimited calling and unlimited text messages. I can send and receive text messages but cannot make calls. I get this message when I attempt to make outgoing local calls: "We cannot complete your call. You do not have an active booster and this call is not covered by your base plan."

What is going on?
I am extremely pregnant and I ABSOLUTELY need the ability to make outgoing phone calls. 
HELP!
It keeps telling me that I have to buy a booster I never use a booster mine is the 50 dollars unlimited access plan
God bless you and your family especially the new born ...... this service is extremely difficult to understand I amsure they have a major issue going on

As long as I don't go into labor today, I should be fine haha.
I'm sure you're probably right and they are having some kind of technical issue and we're not the only people experiencing this - but it certainly isn't much fun.

There shouldn't be such an issue regardless-- there could be a 911 call someone might be trying or someone in labour expectancy like yourself this is not tolerable they should give us better service than what we already have--- we need phone lines where there is no charge to customers or an online chat help

Hi Khalsa and Paula,

911 will work without a SIM card installed and even though neither of you have service at the moment, 911 will work regardless. The best option for both of you is to contact customer service when they open later this morning to find out what's going on. Also, there is no charge for calls to customer service as this matter is beyond your control.
My hubby's phone is not receiving incoming calls, but mine works. Is there some kind of outage?

This seems to be happening in different areas ppl are having outages hopefully this is resolved soon by koodo 🙂

Hi there, we don't have any reported issues at the moment but maybe we are not aware of it yet. The best is to call our technical support so we can have a look into it. That will help us to find out if there is an outage in your area. We can be reached at 1-866-995-6636 from another phone, option #6 then #2. Rest assured that the $5 service fee never applies when calling technical support 🙂 Thank you!
