You don't have to change your number, but I don't think you can get a Saskatchewan plan on an Alberta phone number. One thing you could do is get a new Saskatchewan number and port your existing number to a VOIP service (this assumes you will get a current plan, which seems to fit if you want a Saskatchewan plan). Then forward your Alberta VOIP number to your new Saskatchewan number. So people will still reach you if they call the Alberta number. A downside to this is you pay twice when someone calls the Alberta number, but the VOIP rates are pretty cheap. Some services can forward text messages too. When you call from your phone, however, the Saskatchewan number will show on the caller ID, unless you install and use a VOIP app.

First of all, you CAN keep your phone number but you would not be eligible for Sask/Man plan....OR you can change your number to a Saskatchewan number and be eligible for this plan. Then all you have to do is get in touch with your contacts about your new phone number.

I believe that those are the only options available to you though...I understand that you want a geographic specific plan but that is not available unless you have an address and phone number for that area
