Lost Phone


If I lost my phone and I still have a $300 tab to pay off am I able to replace the phone and transfer the tab to my replaced phone, or will I have to pay off this tab even though I no longer have the phone.

I'm afraid you will have to pay off your phone... Hope you find it back!
But what if I buy the exact same phone from Koodo, they wont put my tab right now onto it?

You can only get a new phone on the tab if you pay off the old one. Sorry, wish I had better news 😞

Options however: You can use any compatible device with your koodo account. So if you want to get a replacement through eBay or Kijiji you could do that too and not have to pay off your tab right away. You can just continue paying your tab while using the new device. BTW if you haven't done so already, make sure you log into self serve and report the phone as lost or stolen. Until you do, you'll be responsible for any charges someone who finds the device might rack up. You'll need a new SIM card for the new phone too. I hope you find your phone.
I have the same problem yet the self serve says I don't have authorization to report lost or stolen phone. Even tho I'm logged in. Have tried countless times. This Koodo web service is poor as hell! .

Call in and explain what's happening.
I just called them at 1 (866) 995-6636. They have a bit of a ridiculous wait time, but they helped me. It really sucks to lose your phone, I hope you find it.
