Local Coverage for Peachland area

I currently have the $35 plan with unlimited nationwide calls. I live in Peachland, BC, work in West Kelowna,. and make frequent lengthy calls to Summerland. [b]How do I know which numbers are considered local calls? I want to know whether I really need unlimited nationwide calling. Maybe a different plan with a limit on nationwide calls but more data would be better.

So, you have $35 Canada wide plan with unlimited call, no data plan.
And you are thinking to switch your plan that include data... correct?

If you can make call without adding "1" before area code, then it can be local most of the time.
But there will be long distance charges (rate of $0.5/min) if you make long distance calls.

Koodo is offering a plan included local minutes(100 min) for $25/mo without data. And Pay-per-use data rate is expensive.

How many minutes do you usually use in one month? Then we can make some suggestion for your plan pick :)
