iPhone Visual Voicemail not activating


Hello,

I added visual voicemail a few days ago to my monthly user account. It said it would take 15 minutes to activate. After a few days, visual voicemail is still not active on my iPhone. It is still displaying “call voicemail”. I have checked for carrier updates through general-about and it does not show updates - Koodo 35.0. I have restarted phone and have reset network settings with no luck. I have latest version of iOS.

any advice would be much appreciated.

Does the visual voicemail add-on show in add-ons when in your self serve account? Other than making sure of that see if the instructions in this link can help you get it going.

yes it shows up as a current add on in my self serve. Unfortunately, I tried all the support options in the apple site. I have restarted, reset network settings, checked under general about for koodo update and there was none. When I click on voicemail it still says call voicemail.

Any my other suggestions?

Ps - I accidentally clicked this as the answer but this is not solved still. Not sure how to undo that

What iPhone model was it? also did you turn on cellular data, visual voicemail need data to work.

If you try all the options, you could also contact Koodo directly and ask someone to reset your voicemail.

IPhone 8 Plus. Yes cellular data is on and I am off wifi.

I would suggest you contact Koodo directly then. If you try to update everything, and it didn't work. You might need a reset from Koodo end. Send a message to their facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Koodo) or setup a callback would do.
