Solved

iPhone SE won't receive texts from (at least) 2 people.

I have 2 friends (.that I know of) that, when they try to text me, receive a message that I'm not subscribed. I have no problems with a variety of phone types and carriers, but these 2 people can't text me, though I can text them. Any ideas?

Hello Lauren, I'd be more then happy to assist you with your problem

What phones do your friends have?
I know the one has a Samsung. When she tries to text me, she gets a message back saying my number is invalid or does not subscribe. I'm not sure about my other friend.

Have her delete your contact and 're add it. Then send another text. Also have her clear your conversation history(ie, just delete your chat conversation)

Oh that is indeed very weird. You can text them but they can't text you back. Are they on the same carrier?
I believe they are on different carriers.

I'd try some of what is suggested here

So I've deduced that all people unable to send me texts are Samsung users.  They are able to send my husband texts (same type of phone, activated on the same day, sharing an account,) but not me.  I spoke with a Koodo rep, and reset my network settings, but to no avail.  I am able to text and call them, but they are unable to text me (they can call.)  All users receive a message saying xxx-xxx-xxxx is invalid or does not subscribe.
What gives?  I can't very well ask everyone I meet what kind of phone they have and go through some rigmarole to get my info to work.
