Should I get an iphone 5 or an Iphone 4? I'm buying an iphone really soon, and i was set on the 4 a little while ago. Now i recently heard that the 4 can't update to ios 7... and I really want ios 7. The problem is the iPhone 5 is 400$ more than the 4.. but its it worth it? Thanks!!

Hi there Tay... There are a couple of differences between the 2 phones, the iPhone 5 has better camera, better video recording quality, better battery life, more internal storage, bigger screen, better processor... But this does not mean that the iPhone 4 is a bad phone, this decision really depends on what you want the phone for, if you are just a basic user and you like to change your phone constantly, I would be taking the iPhone 4 since for sure, when you spend that quantity of money on the iPhone 5 is because you are willing to be stuck with your phone for a while... Here's a link so you can compare the phones... http://www.apple.com/ca/iphone/compare-iphones/

Honestly, I don't think it's worth the extra money at all to get the 5. Plus, koodo stores sell preowned iphone4 for $200 which is even a better deal. And it comes with a warranty too.
Where did you hear that the iPhone 4 can't update to iOS 7? You've been misinformed! The iPhone 4 can be updated to iOS 7 🙂 However, the iPhone 4 and 4S do not receive all of the features of iOS 7. The feature list of iOS7 is here: http://www.apple.com/ca/ios/ios7/features/ The fine print at the bottom of the page (summarized) is: (Feature) (iPhones available on) Panorama format: iPhone 4S, iPhone 5. Square and video formats and swipe to capture: iPhone 4 or later Filters in Camera: iPhone 5 Filters in Photos: iPhone 4 or later. AirDrop: iPhone 5, and requires an iCloud account. Siri is available on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and requires Internet access. Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas, and features may vary by area. Cellular data charges may apply. New female and male voices will be available initially in U.S. English, French and German.

The iPhone 4 is reaching end-of-life. If you do go that route, I wouldn't spend more than $200 for it. Another thing to consider if buying from Koodo is that the 4 only comes in the 8GB variant. I'm having issues with my 16GB iPhone 5 not having enough memory. Actually, 16GB is enough if I clear the photos/videos every few weeks, but I'm lazy. But, I'd have to uninstall quite a few things to make 8GB work.
