iPhone 4 sending unknown data.

iPhone 4 is sending a huge amount of data. Almost 250mb this afternoon. I haven't done anything different than before. Any tips? I just reset my network settings.

Hi Andre, Have you looked at your apps? There might be a "noisy" one that does a lot of chattering to the Internet. If you are not using your phone for streaming music or video, then 250MB is a horrendous amount to burn up in one afternoon!
Hi Sophia, thanks for your reply. Not sure which app. I don't have many apps on my phone. Also, I haven't done anything different from my routine. I am finally resetting y phone completely. I have used 975mb this afternoon alone.
you sure it is mb and not mb? double tap the home button and close all open programs, as well turn your location service to off which is settings>privacy, only thing i could think of is if you had your maps app running constantly updating your location. Hope you figure it out.

Even maps wouldn't use THAT much... you got a point though... perhaps it's only 900KB that was used?

250mb is high for one afternoon. That much use will also cause your battery to run low. I am assuming that you would be connect to power during this time. Were you streaming and expecting to be on WIFI but the WIFI connect was lost and never restored?

You didn't have any large emails that failed to send, did you? In this case the phone would keep trying to resend the email until the message goes out or it is deleted from the outbox, which can chew up a heck of a lot of data.
